Computer Class
every Wednesday at 6:00 PM, Bill Richardson, a volunteer and member of the NAPL Friends, teaches a Computer Class for ages 16—Adult every Wednesday evening. Personalizing the instruction to the needs of those attending, he covers many aspects of basic computer use, common word processing and spreadsheet programs, and related topics. The class is free, and students may attend as many times as they wish. Please call or stop by the library to sign up. We need your name and phone number in the event of class cancellations.

Every Saturday morning from 9:30am to 11:00am, the Allentown Public Library runs a free computer class. Patrons can signup for the class by stopping by the reference desk, or calling 610-820-2400 x1. While signups are are encouraged, drop bys are allowed, space permitting.
Here are some of the classes offered:
- Computer basics
- Internet basics
- E-mail
- Job Hunting
- Using the APL catalog
Classes are not offered during the summer months. To check when specific classes are scheduled, please refer to the calendar or contact the reference department.
